Will you do free art/work for exposure?
Absolutely not. I do this as a full time job and sadly exposure and free are things that don't pay the bills or keep me fed. Please do not ask for charity. The only time free art is done is if its a personal piece for myself or for a friend I CHOOSE to draw art for.
What are your prices?
Just... look? Click the Commissions button to see!!! I get asked this a lot and yes some items (such as larger graphics) require quotes, but please look at my commissions page before asking me the price of something.
Why are your prices so high?
My prices are priced the way they are due to my experience, the tier of clients I've worked with, and the time/effort I put into every piece. Also note, that when it comes to emotes/sub badges or any commercial piece, you are paying for the commercial rights for them as well, since I do not take any percent of your subs, and people are subbing to use the art I make. If you aren't willing to pay these prices for my work, wait for a sale, or go elsewhere.
This person can do it for this much, why can't you?
I am not a grocery store that does price checks, I don't match prices, I am my own person and business. If you've got someone willing to do something for cheaper than me, go to them, if you haven't, theres a reason your talking to me, because you like my stuff better, so why not pay what its actually worth? As said above, my prices are the way they are for a reason.
Wheres my commission? Its been amount of time?
If its only been a week or two, probably still in the works, please check the waitlist and see where its at. I do give an estimated wait time, but sometimes life happens, my wrists acts up, or I get too many rush orders that make it take a bit longer than normal.
If its however been longer than a month, you may have missed a message, or something may have gotten lost in communication. Please message me on either twitter by dms, or by email ([email protected]) / contact form here on the site, and we will try and get things sorted.
Hi I'm new! How does it all work?
So its actually a pretty simple process when it comes to commissioning me. First, check my portfolio and my prices to see if they work for you, you can also have a look at my current wait time as well in case you need it fast, I do have rush fees. If you decide I'm the right artist for you, you can fill out my commission form, please try and be as descriptive as possible so I can give the best estimate and make the best art for you. I usually reply to the forms within 24 hours, if its been longer, please message me. Once we settle all the details, I will require payment through a PayPal invoice I will send. Once paid (within 24 hours) I'll confirm your booking on the spot I gave you for the waitlist. As soon as I get to your commission, I'll do a sketch(s) and send it to you for approval, any changes in this phase are structural. Once approved, I'll work on lining and colouring/shading the piece, and send that for approval. In this phase, only colours can be changed. after everything is approved, I'll do any resizing needed and send you everything necessary for use, and thats it!
Why do you require payment first?
I ask for payment first because a lot of my clients in the past when I didn't would disappear or not pay for their work, so to be safe, I started doing this.
I know a lot of people have been ripped off in this fashion, so I always say to check with any of my clients to learn that I will indeed do your work after payment. I've had over 1000+ clients at this point, so please ask any.
